shots III gets, as opposed to when Stevie is out. Looks like there could be somewhat of a balance, but I guess when you've got Shane, Stevie, and Fowler, that doesn't leave a lot of attempts to pass around. But it does seem a shame that one of, if not your best, shooter, doesn't get more than four shots in a game.04-cheers

While our team is playing very well, it always amazes me that we don't set our good shooters up for more shots. Several times last night when the ball would go inside, and our post man was covered up, Matt would be all alone on the perimeter, and instead of passing the ball out to him for a wide open shot, several times they passed it out to someone else. I don't know the reasons, but it is strange that they don't get the ball to Matt more than they do. 03-banghead

I was watching Kentucky play yesterday, and on a few occasions, Jodie Meeks was open, and the players with the ball wouldn't even look at him and passed the ball to someone else. The announcers even mentioned it. How can you not give the ball to Meeks when he's open. He's your bread and butter guy. I'm certainly not comparing III to Jodie Meeks, but it shows that even with the greatest players, sometimes they don't get the ball when they should. Of course Meeks still managed to get it enough to score 45 points. One of the greatest one man performances by a college perimeter player that I ever saw.04-cheers
