Although I am not the orange jump-suit man, I am a close friend of his and he asked what I thought about him wearing the mempis state penitentiary uniform again this year. Any thoughts?
Yes, absolutely.
Heck YES!! And wear a sign that says, "Hit Me and I'll Sue You."

Or a sign "He hate me"...

I can't get enough of the orange jump suit guy.
Maybe an 'orange out' instead of white out or green out.
I still can't believe Pierre-Cheezeburger-Wideload-Blubberton-Niles actually slapped a dude. Slapped. Who does that?

you should personally ask Pierre when he's walking out of Bartow Arena with your lunch money in a few weeks.

He (a dude...at least I presume) slapped another dude. Open palm slapped. There's no way around that. I don't care if a guy knocks down Fedor Emelianenko with a slap...he still slapped another dude, and that makes him a bitch. Niles is a bitch. There's no way around that. I would confront him, but I could get arrested for domestic violence (yes, we do actually arrest people for that in Alabama...probably should fill in your players before the trip).

I'm sure Pierre wouldn't press charges...they don't handle things that way in Pierre's south Memphis neighborhood. So if you feel compelled, walk up to Pierre, call him a bitch for slapping that bumpkin and then wait around for his reaction.
Evidently, Pierre has stolen a lot of lunch money. I'm guessing he eats between 10 and 15 lunches per day.

A little birdy told me we had to throw out the folding chair he sat on during last year's game. It was bent and unsafe after that heavy load.
Someone dress up as a crossdresser and hold a sign saying...

"Pierre, you can slap me anytime big boy!"

Okay, maybe not. This is the time when we need St. Louis for some ideas for the students.
I say bring him back, but he really should be wearing one of these:

There goes another Board Comedian of the Year to Smaug. How the hell am I supposed to follow that?

*edit* And yes, come back, wear the jumpsuit... and do wear the mask at least some of the time.
I keep that pic on file for a buddy in New Orleans who once got a black eye from a stripper's boot.

I have no response to this.
Man if the student section came together and did something like that it would be awesome. And it would also be the last time they got away with something like that as well.
Hey Moose. Adam says he should do it! Talk to CJ about it, we need to make sure they see him.

If a bunch of students do it, be damn sure that the jumpsuits have "Memphis City Jail" stenciled on the back or the mempiss fans will claim our students are a bunch of criminals. (They will anyway, but it gets the point across.)

Yes, I know that's not the right name for the Memphis jail but using the real name would only mean anything to the Memphis peeps.

Personally, I'd lean to letting OJSG be it, but be sure to feed the fact that he's there to ESPN so when they catch him on camera with the mask on they can run the vid of Niles slapping him. Otherwise no one but us will get the joke.

Since I'm now sitting in what was the student section last year I considered wearing one but I'm not on the rail and my wife assures me of doing me more physical damage than a Hot Plate Pierre Niles sissyslap if I do.
It should become a new Blazer tradition

Has OJM been back to a game since? He really, REALLY needs to wear the garb again. We will all support him. Tell him please to do it. But he does need some sort of sign referencing his Niles slap. Maybe a picture of "the slap" with:

PIERRE HITS LIKE A GIRL BUT HE EATS LIKE A MAN!

That would be great for ESPN!
What's also funny is that Mempissers know exactly what OJM did.

Many of them know, for a fact, that he

1) spit on PHN
2) called him a N*****
3) threw piss on him
4) pulled out a revolver but flipped over the railing before being able to use it

Gang Green needs to line up outside on the 26th and file in singing the fight song, with OJM leading the way. That would be awesome to see 1,000+ coming in the arena simultaneously.

That won't work. Pierre has developed some new moves. He's got a Moe Howard-like eyepoke just for situations like this.
Should the 12,000+ Memphis fans in attendance need to do anything special?

Like Eminem did on the MTV Video Awards show. Awesome!

Why not - you don't have anything else.

Go for it dude!

Fixed it for ya and I would think the only thing special Memphis fans need to do is bring a brown bag to throwup in after witnessing defeat at the hands of UAB! UAB! UAB! UAB!

We've got hotdogs, Bossy.

We'll keep one tepid for you.
Hope you guys can provide some entertainment. I look forward to the UAB games b/c it's usually a tight competitive game... I hope DeMarcus is watching...

What about rain coats for the several inches of pissipitation we're in store for? lol
Just make sure they're not orange. We know y'all's feelings on orange.

Very valuable lesson to learn about life.....If you keep doing things the same way...you will continue to get the same results.
Why don't you just bring game and a bit of class ... something you usually fail to show up with !!!
That's quite a contribution to the conversation, steve.

Good job.
I'll just say this. After last year's game, Jumpsuit Boy was not smart. If he wants to show up again, let him, but if he chooses to charge through the stands and get in our face and taunt us as we're trying to get off the floor, well, things can happen. Check the picture. The guy is literally leaning halfway over a barrier (not to mention a clueless rent-a-cop) and his hand is raised. Who knew if he had a whiskey bottle, battery, etc.?

I can certainly understand the frustration of the fans at the way the game turned out. You had the # 1 team in the nation beat and we took it away. Yes, we could have exited the arena graciously, but when garbage is flying at you, it can get heated. After seeing SMU almost pull out the win at Bartow, I feel good about our chances of a solid double-digit victory, so most of the fans (including jumpsuit boy) will have left before the end of the game.

Exactly. Slapping somebody is more humiliating to them than is punching them. Slapping a man is sign of disrespect. I'm glad Pierre slapped that redneck.
You're glad Niles reached into the crowd and struck a student.

Nice.

Now, how 'bout some Memphis fan lecture me about class?

I've got some lectures.

1. It's something we all skip from time to time.
2. You can't spell it without a cuss word, or the traditional name for a donkey.

There! You've been lectured.
Thank you, Steve.

I found that strangely refreshing.

He needs to wear it.

Some UAB fans poke fun at Pierre's weight problems, but would be quite pleased to have him on their team this season. He could have made the road to the Big Dance a bit smoother.
