Has anyone seen these? I've been told by the sales rep from the brewery that they printed tons of them and put them in restaurants all over town.

We have some epic battles coming up in the Sun Belt Conference regular season at "the Jack" for both the Men and Women's Basketball teams. I know that UALR can't promote Diamond Bear but DB can promote the Trojans. After all, how many collegiate arenas sell award winning craft beers on tap? Especially in the South?

Robert, we have an excellent relationship with the staff at Jack Stephens Arena. We produced several thousand UALR Trojans Basketball Schedule coasters and put them around town.
Unfortunately, we don't have a huge advertising budget, otherwise we would plaster UALR Trojans all over this town. Great Basketball + Great Beer = Win

I love that! That kind of ever-present promotion really helps in my opinion--just like every barber shp in the state has a Hogs football schedule. I wish we could get more stuff like that going!

I've never been in Corky's in Little Rock, but the one in NLR has had pictures of Trojan basketball, along with hog and Joe Kleine memorabilia in it since it opened. This was several years before Joe became a coach at UALR. I have always respected Joe for this, along with my respect for his playing abilities.
He didn't have to put anything UALR in his restaurant.
I've always wondered why our athletic department doesn't print up thousands of schedules on posters, and put them in the windows of every restaurant and convience store in town. I see the pig schedules all the time.

I saw some of the brewery owners sitting courtside behind the Trojan bench at the Tulsa game last season sipping their product. They are the real deal.
If you drink beer and are a Trojan fan I
strongly encourage you to buy their products or at least give them a chance. They are stepping up for the program in a big way. The on-tap versions taste better than in the bottle, but the beers are so well-made that even the bottled version are usually decent. If you are a fan of yellow fizzy domestic beers you may want to start with the Honey Weiss or Southern Blonde and work your taste buds up to the pale ales.

When you think about it, Mid Major basketball is sort of like the craft brewing industry (microbrewers like DB, Boulevard, Abita) and Major BCS schools are like the big corporate brewers (A-B, Miller, Coors, Heineken). The micros are lesser known, not as widely distributed but their customers are highly knowledable of the product and fiercely loyal. People who have a palate for quality are the kind of fans we will attract.
And if you don't drink beer, you can always give Coleman Dairy your business. They have been a supporter and neighbor of UALR for a long time. And if you are lactose intolerant, then there's always the products of Pepsico.
The Pale Ale is AWESOME..! Full bodied, yet kind of sweet. And for the same price as the can beers, you get 16 ounces..!
Even better, on Friday nights at Dickie Stephens Park, you can get the 32 oz big boys while taking in a baseball game.

Don't we also want fans that drink Hamm's...?

Saturday mornings can be a bit foggy during baseball season.

Sure.
They will have to settle for 12 oz. of Bud, Bud light, or MGD (or whatever megabrews they serve at the Jack)
