Does any of you older fans have any pictures of Beauregard (the previous, previous mascot)? I would love to have a few pictures but can't find mine. I am sure they are in storage somewhere but if anyone has any, I would really appreciate your posting them in as high of quality as possible. You could also send them to me in a private message.
Many thanks!

I have a TON of pics from the 80s when I was a sports photogropher. Mainly from 84-89. They are all in storage right now, I will fish them out and scan some for the masses. I KNOW I have some BTR pics, I have one of him posing with Aubie in the Civic Center.... :D

Photographer to construction site manager

I would be very appreciative for any pictures you could fish out. I have a photo website with unlimited storage, I would love some high quality scans and if you needed a place to upload them to, I can give you access to the
http://www.fotki.com/donbarger site.
YEAH!!!
I can't wait to see some BTR pictures!
Sax, it's a long story but I'll be glad to tell it sometime maybe at the Hill Center...
I was also a basketball coach..... :D
BTR, give me a little time to dig it out and I will get with you...

Which one was "Beauregard"?
Was that the chicken? Or the Super dude?
The superdude vulcan was even more gay looking than the male flag guys on the color guard.
Beauregard was the Rooster (hence, Beauregard "T" Rooster)
He was the Rooster. Don't call him a chicken. Thank you.

I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it but yes, it was a rooster. I used to get so mad when people called BTR a chicken. I would go to oposing venues and they would have signs about a chicken. That just made me take it out on their mascot during the half-time fight. You see, BTR's head was built around a football helmet. It was very hard to hurt Beauregard. Also, the tail was registered in 13 states as a lethal weapon.

That's too funny. I barely remember him, I think I was still up north at that time.
