The Titans stink - they have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL and then they get a backup like Rex Grossman when they do go on the road. The Steelers will teach them a lesson next month.

yeah what's the Steelers record? they need to worry about the Ravens any way. To the point, the Steelers lose in big games and will lose to the Titans in Nashville this year. You think Big Ben's been hit yet... wait till Albert lands on him.
I am a bears fan first and a TItans fan second. The bears needed that game more than the titans did. Defense played the run great but it was Rex and I just hope Orton comes back when the bears have to go to Green Bay next week.

I can see 2 losses maybe in those but not 3. They could win all and be 16-0.
Next week will be a VERY tough test.
Jags are a rival and really, really need a win just to keep pace.

I'm as big of a Titan fan as the next guy, but I agree that we will have 2-3 losses before the playoffs. I've been disappointed the last 2 games with errors, drop balls & the lack of offense that would make me think different about the 2-3 losses. Those games that they will lose will be because the defense will not be there to bail them out.
The three most dangerous games left are @ Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, and @ Indy...ESPECIALLY that last one, considering all the starters will be resting.
Dude Jeff Fisher OWNS the Steelers. Just be glad Cowher isn't coaching anymore because that head to head record was pitiful. The Steelers will get their asses handed to them and Tennessee will play in the Super Bowl against the Giants and that game is a tossup, but I wouldn't count the Titans out they are finding ways to win even when they're not playing their best ball and that's what great teams do.
I too think we will lose 2 or 3.. The offense has been horrendous.. Seriously until the second half today I had a loss chalked up. Defense wins titles.. hopefully Dinger will have a solid gameplan in the playoffs.

I wasn't at all impressed by the Steelers last night and the Jaqs are dangerous but can't stop the run. So I could see the Titans going into to Indy for the last game undefeated. Then the question becomes do you rest the starters for a meaningless game or go for perfection.
Also the win @ Baltimore looks more and more impressive. I think it will be a rematch w/ the Ravens for the AFC Championship and that will be a tougher game than playing the Giants in the SB.

The Jets are playing pretty well right now too. They are 6-3 and tied for 1st in the AFC East coming off a blowout, 47-3, over the Rams.
If we lose one game that will take the pressure off of being undefeated. If we lose 2 or 3 out of our remaining 7 we will probably bow out in the 1st round of the playoffs.

I can't argue with that assessment, but we can dream that just maybe this could be the year. Being a Jets fan isn't the easiest path (the prison psychiatrist tells me it's some sick form of self-abuse, but if this is the best job he could get..... F him). Before I was invited to spend a couple of years at this place, I attended a lot of games in Jersey. Good times. I've just gotta stick with 'em.

It wasn't meant to be funny. It was meant to be advice. If someone wants to talk about the Titans there is really no reason for you to jump in and spew the nonsense about True Memphians. I certainly have no problems about people voicing their opinions. I do, however have a problem with calling HLT or other Titan fans names and suggesting that they are not True Memphians if they like the Titans. I remember when the Oiler/Titans were in Memphis and it wasn't pretty but they are still my favorite NFL team. I have been in Memphis since I was 2. Am I not a true Memphian?

I actually grew up first a Packers fan. Growing up my neighbor played QB for the Vikings so I became a Vikings fan. For a short time I liked the Cowboys of which I am truly sorry. I have liked the Titans since before their first Super Bowl run.
Bud Adams and the Oilers/Titans treated this city and its citizens despicably. Nothing excuses their behavior during that time period. And they have treated several of their players just as poorly.
I went to every oilers game the year they played here. It was about 25,000-30,000 people in a dead liberty bowl. The oilers rightly jumped ship to nashville where they got a hell of a lot more support.
All memphis did was demonstrate that we were not a good sports town during that interlude and couldn't support a professional team. Unfortunately, some people relished it then as they relish the grizzlies poor ticket sales. Why I can't fathom
