I got my pass to bitch about the government for the next 4 years. I was surprised by how easy and uncrowded my voting site was. I went to Ramsay High to vote. Anyone have problems voting anywhere?

I stood in line for about an hour, but it always feels great to vote.

Botanical Gardens were the same for me dfarr. I just walked right in and handed them my license. Of course this was at 10 am but still.

I only had to wait about 10 min at my location up here in Madison, but my dad got here at 6:30 and had to wait about 1.5 hrs.

I was in line at 7 am and left two hours later. I am pleased to report that unlike another city in the country there were no Black Panthers there to intimidate me, nor did I get kicked out for voting Republican.

I voted at 2:45pm, three people in line in front of me. I had to wait 10 whole minutes.

I noticed that people were modifying their "I voted" stickers. Everyone I saw had McCain written on them. I decided to be different...I wrote "The old guy & the MILF" on mine.

BTW, them being in front of the poling place menacing people to vote obama is most certainly illegal, it's the same as campaigning within 30', 50', 100' from the door.

You beat me to it.

I tried to vote but was not allowed to :( It seems that somehow my registration was moved. It is probably my fault but it was still disappointing.

I voted at Coosa Valley Elementary School and was in and out at 5pm in about 8 min. The line was getting much longer when I left than when I arrived. It seemed that about half of the offices had no opposition.
