If UAB athletics is being strangled by the BOT, and our President and AD, are unwilling to shed light on the total violation of SACS rules and regulations, then why do we need an athletics program.

We hired a coach, that no one else in the country wanted. Either our AD & President really know how to find a diamond in the rough, or their paycheck is more important than the success of this program.

Call me crazy, but I for one am not satified with just having a program. If the program can't be allowed to make its own decisions, then we are wasting our time.

If I buy my wife a car, and never allow her to get the oil changed, buy new tires, or drive it outside of the neighborhood... Does she really have a car?
