Let's see the new uniforms (home and away) for CUSA schools in 2008.
Blazers unveil new unis

We will have new helmets, too, but they are waiting for game day to reveal them.
Am I alone in thinking that schools that change their uniforms all the time usually suck? I mean, Texas, OU, Michigan, Ohio State, etc...never change their stuff....but we all do it all the time. Can't we all just pick something and stick with it?

Look a little closer

Yeah -- we ALWAYS do it. It drives me nuts.
Keep this topic on track.
ESPNs take on all the uniform changes this year. I agree with their remarks on SMUs changes. 03-cloud9

Uni Watch: Back-to-school edition
Oregon doesn't suck and they change their uniforms every game. UCF overhauled their mascot, and I would say they're pretty good. It seems to be the younger programs that do it more rather than those with established tradition. Less to do with how good the program actually is.

UCF was forced to change their mascot when the old one kept being pestered to speak at PFLAG meetings.

Quote:
• Uni Watch's gravest sympathies go out to fans of Arkansas, where a classic look has given way to some serious nonsense. The white swoops around the ribcage supposedly represent razorback tusks, which would be fine except for two things: (1) This is the exact same template adidas is using for Michigan's new road jersey, and nobody's claiming that that design has tusks. (2) Tusks, um, don't grow on ribcages. And amidst all the obvious deficiencies in this design, here's a non-obvious problem: If your last name is longer than "Fish," your nameplate is going to collide with the rear shoulder stripes. A failure on every level. (Masochists can find a video clip of the uni's unveiling embedded on this page.)

I think I know why this writer is stuck on Page 2. There isn't a Page 8.

If I can give him some props, he waited until his column was half over before breaking out the moronic "Arena League" slam.
UCF's uni's are less than a year old. Do those still count as new?

I think we might actually be bringing out the black jerseys for a game this year, too.
SMU played as ugly as their uniforms tonight.
