From the usm board here are some of the games that I believe have been confirmed from other teams schedules:
Kansas State (game played in Kansas City)
at Minnesota
at New Mexico
Ole Miss (game played at Mississippi Coast Coliseum...assuming Gustav doesn't do damage)
We open the season at the Paradise Jam tournament in the Virgin Islands where we open with Miami (FL), and then play either LaSalle or UConn. The other 4 teams are San Diego, Valpo, Iona, and Wisconsin.
Wish I knew more but at least it's a start.
i wish USM and the rest of C-USA could schedule like this every year. I look forward to seeing how the Golden Eagles fair against these guys.

well...i'd like to think we play a somewhat difficult OOC schedule. ;-)
Go Tigers!!!

I knew that losing to Savannah State was only strategic. Now some decent teams are scheduling y'all for the easy win. Good luck against William Carey - Tradition Campus.
Don't take it personal. Y'all are a dangerous basketball team and UAB knows that.
Looks like a good schedule. Beat Minnesota for us so UAB can get Bledsoe.

That is a great schedule!

Well...many of the teams listed above...UCF already played either last year, this year or recently in the past. (i.e. UCF hosted Ole Miss and UCONN last year...played Michael Beasley's Kansas St team in a tough OT game at Disney, UCF/Valpo are playing a home-home non-conf series this year, UCF recently traveled to Minnesota, etc...).
Hoop schedules (with 340 Div I-A teams...plus scores of Div II teams that are added to them as well) can change dramatically from year to year...be it by choice or by other means (i.e. Alaska Tourn canceled this year so UCF was sent scrambling late to fill in dates/games).
Just last year, USM had at least 4 games vs Div II teams or LOWER.
This year...USM has a much better non-conf schedule.
Ahhhhhh...those UAB fans....don't they know it makes UAB...who lost to Southern Miss...look foolish?....But we all know that......
