Conservative or Wide open?
A botched snap that turns into a 5 yard run for Webb.

Shouldn't happen. Zero is gone!
But it would only work if Roddy and Hack were still here.
With Callaway I expect to see much more GOOD calling. Not flashy, but smart.
I say a short out pattern to Forrest.
I like this one. Get Joe in flow of the game early.

No, sorry. If the former coach was here, I would bet on a delay of game penalty!

Zero's first play: He would have to call a time out to avoid a delay of game penalty. Then after the time out get a delay of game penalty. This is followed by the dumb look.
The REAL Coach Cal's first play: Jim Mitchell off right tackle for a 12 yard gain and he bloodies someone's nose. Then Jim steps on the defender as he gets up. The defensive line for Tulsa is all on their back sides.......

)Seriously, Power run to the right 5+ yard gain!

A dumb look in a sweater vest on the 30th day of August.
Then he glances at the blinking dot on the scoreboard.
Cjrun and myself have been summoning the power of the dots over the past few years to no avail, perhaps this year is the year?
They are my inspiration. I have missed them. See you Saturday triangle and dot.
Just never the "Brokeback Pole Cat".

No. If 'zer0' were still coach, it'd be a punt ... just to dazzle 'em with his brains and strike fear in the hearts of his opponents.
Under Callaway, it'll be a play-action pass. A fake dive to the left, with a rollout to the right by Webb for an eight yard gain to the TE. The second play will be a pitch to the RB around the left end for a gain of 15 yards. We'll be close to mid-field after just two plays.
GO BLAZERS!
The offensive (can be defined 2 different ways) genius in him wouldn't allow for a 3rd down punt.
An offensive mastermind like Watson had to be coerced into punting on 4th down. If the other coaches hadn't made him punt on 4th down, we would never have lost a game.
What? I'm just being realistic.
::note sarcasm please::

Once Zero finally got the play in it would be spread formation, draw left, lose 2 yrds. I always hated those spread draw plays.

Not at Oklahoma when we were down by a touchdown with less than 4 minutes to play. He gladly punted it away and let OU run the clock out. F'in coward.

Wait. Is Watson still here?
Sorry you're thinking of the Tenn Tech game

Just for laughs, heres Tenn Tech's first series....
1st and 10 at TTU 31 Lee Sweeney pass incomplete to Henry Sailes, broken up by Jeffrey Williams.
2nd and 10 at TTU 31 Lee Sweeney rush for a loss of 1 yard to the TnTch 30, tackled by Kenny Baker.
3rd and 11 at TTU 30 Lee Sweeney sacked by Quinnon Isom for a loss of 8 yards to the TnTch 22.
4th and 19 at TTU 22 Jason Lennartz punt for 16 yards, punt out-of-bounds at the TnTch 38.

Ah the memories.....

Wow, that game was quite the offensive extravaganza...
