Sorry, but it makes me almost want to barf when somebody tries to put soul ( or other interpretative vocalizations) into the National Anthem. The song should never be performed in any manner other than how it was written, in my opionion. Period!

Normally I would agree with you Dawg on altering the National Anthem, but that one truly is amazing. I remember when it was sung initially in 1983 and was moved then and moved now.
