Don't sleep on Houston. They may not have as much talent on Defense as UCF did last year, but Coach Skladany is a top notch defensive coordinator and knows how to shut down tulsa (see ucf's two beat downs of tulsa last year). Tulsa has a favorable schedule, but houston in houston is no joke.

Ten Things:

1. UAB gets more than 1 win (barely).

2. Marshall finally fires Snyder when its all said and done.

3. Tulsa doesn't go undefeated in its slate of C-USA games.

4. Memphis loses to another SBC team.

5. SMU gets more media attention before the season starts than they earn on the field (if you catch my drift).

6. Houston coogs it at the least convenient time for them.

7. ECU barely misses winning the East at the the very last minute.

8. One (or more) C-USA team will be or have been ranked by the end of the season.

9. UCF over-achieves thanks to the defense carrying the team.

10. If UCF wins the USF game, Leavitt will literally run across the field and kill O'Leary. Have you seen that guy's face when they lose?

I think this is the one year where more of our talent is on the defensive side of the ball. Hunt, Ash, Fontenette, Lubojasky, and crew ought to be pretty good this year.

Southern Miss not having the athletes is the funniest thing ive heard in amonth.We have a lot of questions/problems but athletic ability on offense is not one of them.

1. Houston will only lose because they didn't bring their A-Game

2. UCF Fans will call for O'Leary's head if the team loses. Especially to USF.

3. UCF Fans will call for Coach of the Year for O'Leary if they then win the Conference.

4. Skip Holtz will be discussed for several other jobs.

5. ECU may or may not beat UCF, but their fans will be bitter about it either way.

6. Memphis fans will be suicidal at some point in the season. They will stumble to a bowl anyway.

7. Memphis fans will say "wait for basketball season" each time they lose a football game.

8. C-USA fans will decry any out-of-conference loss (that isn't their team) as the proof of the final death knell for the Conference.

9. Anyone who suggests to a USM fan that 8-4 with a bowl game is a respectable season will be told they "don't get USM football."

10. The demands for a neutral or rotating Championship game will get louder when UCF hosts it's 3rd out of 4.

That's one of the most solid top 10 lists I've read.

1) You won't have to suffer through many defensive struggles.

2) Memphis will lose at least one game a year to a team from the Sun Belt.

3) Houston will Coog it™.

4) Pretty girls with skimpy outfits go to UCF.

5) UAB wont sell out its 72,000 seat stadium. And while their attendance, while still in the hunt, will be comparable to many of their peers, they will still get called out by assholes on attendance because, unless you damn near fill it, a 72,000 seat stadium still looks practically empty.

6) A Bower coached USM team will never lose to UAB. Oh wait... he doesn't coach there anymore does he?

7) Memphis fans prefer day old Legion field hot dogs to the BBQ they can get back home.

8) ECU will whine about the conference geographic "footprint" until Sasquatch sues them for copyright infringement.

9) Rice will remain perennially above, or is it below, the fray.

10) Ironically, you can't get a decent bean burrito in the Sun Bowl.
