For any who know or knew the Hutchinson family, longtime masters of Brown, their daughter Emma, who had been in poor health for much of her life, passed away on Saturday morning.
Emma was someone I knew only a brief time, but her spirit and joy were obvious even in the face of the adversity she lived with daily. I was lucky enough to spend time with her during a wedding--a time of fantastic celebration and hope for the future. Her shining smile is one of the best memories I have of that weekend. She will be so very greatly missed--I can only imagine how much so by those who were lucky enough to know her better than I did.
Services are Tuesday, August 26th at 4 pm in the Grand Hall of the RMC, with reception to follow at the Brown Masters' House.
