Surprised to see they'll have tailgating (at least those that are cooking) in the lawn in front of Burkot/McCall/Small. Not exactly what I expected, but I guess it will work ok.
What's the latest on the stadium? Last I saw (about a month ago) they were working on the restrooms and concessions. Is the scoreboard up yet? Any landscaping yet?
was at the open house, fan appreciation, greet and meet. It was really nice. The visitor's side which will be the home side this year is about 95% complete. Really nice complete with everything, concession, restrooms, walls, everything right down to the grass sodding. looked like about the only thing incomplete was the fencing, the scoreboard was up but the jumbletron and sponsor credits aren't own it yet. On the other side of the field (which will be the visitor's side this year), only the press box is mounted high in the air on posts. The field was beautiful. The fieldhouse was really impressive. The afternoon scrimmage was really good. I've seen allot of football in my days and I can tell you this, the Fighting Came;s are going to win some football games this fall. Not sure how many and which ones but they are going to be a pretty decent first year ball club
i agree. i think the defense will be our strong point. got my tickets today. i got 6 tickets for the fam. How many do you guys think well have on opening day? im thinking 4000 would be a good day.
For those that work there, remember the three T's, and do everything possible to get the students in the seats. I know you're a first year program, but I really see Campbell playing scholarship ball REAL SOON.
