Thanks man.
No there wasn't, but still it's pretty exciting.
Look forward to having you on board with Gang Green next year!!!
Something Business. Not sure which kind yet.
Definitely staying on campus.
Hooray! We need more FN Blazers!!!
Here's my take on the UAB School of Business...WORLD FN CLASS!
But seriously, some things to consider (remember, this is only my FN opinion, so take it for what it's worth)
I would avoid majoring in management and marketing. These two majors are tremendously low on the pay scale, and because they are relatively easier degrees, there are a LOT of students in these programs, so you'll have a tougher time competing against your classmates for good jobs.
Economics, finance (FN RIGHT!) and accounting are where it's at. Accounting will give you the most job exposure and starting $, but it just wasn't my thing. Economics can be a great major but job possibilities are limited. If you want to mix in a little engineering, our Industrial Distribution program is one of only a handful in the nation, and if I'm not mistaken, this degree will grant you the largest starting $.
And, your junior or senior year, make sure you get an internship. Without it, your chances of finding a good job are tremendously lowered.
Just my FN take. But don't worry about all that
for now. Relax and enjoy your first two years of pre-business courses. And remember it's never a bad idea to minor in female studies!

True. Just hope you don't get jerks who like everyone to be up at 3am in da morning... (though there where some hotties in next to nothing...)
Ding Gratz, man!
For an easy degree that's worthless unless you're going to grad school. I can knock it b/c that's my degree haha.
Congrats hooverblazer! Good luck on your studies and I look forward to seeing you at the Tulsa game.
