Although it could be argue that the parameters used were a personal bias. But anywho I was shocked at the Number 1 album.

That #1 was an incredible album. My parents owned it and we wore it out. Overall, a good list based on objective data. I'm really glad he left out greatest hits compilations...it's always bugged me when they show up on lists of "Top Albums".

What? No Wing?

What kind of list is that?

If you want to know what I'm talking about, click on the following link (you'll need iTunes installed for it to work), and then listen to tracks 3 and 4.

3 Zeppelin and 2 Pink Floyd albums - I am not surprised there.
No Jimmy Buffett, George Strait, Garth Brooks, or Hank Jr?

I have several on that list.

It's funny, I have The Wall but don't ever remember listening to it...............
Sorry i would have to say Abbey Road goes before thriller

Remember this was done without bias. I was shocked not to see a couple of albums but that is a pretty stout Top 20 if you ask me (again without my personal bias).

Thriller sold a buttload of records, and that carries a lot of weight in his ranking. So do Grammys, which I have a certain tendency to discount. The results depend on his record ranking methodology and that is highly subjective.

"Faith" wouldn't have made my llist. Neither would "Physical Graffiti".

I love Stevie Wonder from that period. "Songs in the key of life", "Innervisions", "Talking Book". Don't know that I would have picked it as #1 but I wouldn't throw rocks at the pick either.

Writing out "Best of's" is ok, but not live albums. I know too many live albums that deserve serious consideration for a Top 20. "Live at Leeds", "Allman Brothers at the Fillmore East", "James Brown and his Famous Flames Live at the Apollo".
Not a bad selection, one complaint I have though is that there are way better Metallica albums than the black album. It's not bad, but doesn't belong on a top 20 list. Master of Puppets maybe, but not the black album.

I thought "and justice for all" could have recieved a nod...

Yeah, I would agree with that, just threw out master of puppets as an example.
