Keep counting. This is definitely a trend with you specifically, ATTALLA. You go hunting for smack on our board and drag it back to your little cave where you can digest it safely. You pick one post that may not be at all representative of a thread, and you agitate your followers with some ludicrous generalization like "This is how they feel about Blazer fans." Maybe this is just how "they" feel about posters like you.

Whenever these things come up, I never see you involved in any kind of real discussion. You're just an instigator. A scavenger running back and forth between our board and yours, never sticking around long enough to debate on our board. The only people you end up agitating (/p*ssing off) are your fellow Blazer fans.

I have sit back and been insulted, called a liar, seen my school trashed and endured all sorts of personal attacks. Normally I don't get into such exchanges but you can only take so much abuse and sometimes enough is enough and you have to retaliate.

If any of them want to conduct civil discussions, I am more than happy to but from reading their board few of them are capable. The regular Tiger posters that visit here are not the problem. Most of them are some really nice people, some I have met and would go to war with any day.

It disturbs me you have [or even feel a need] to defend yourself on a board you helped create.

It will not be the first time I or other UAB fans have had to defend themselves at either basketball or football games in the city of Memphis and judging from how SOME of their fans are acting, it won't be the last.

The fact of the matter is that posters from both boards have gone over the top, lacked civility and just basic common sense for the past few months.

I've even participated. But lately, I've tried to take the high road, even when I read posts that make it incredibly hard to do. Or receive PMs that make me want to reach through the tubes of the Internet and strangle someone.

Both boards could stand from us leaving each other alone for a while.

I agree, I suggest we just stay off their boards a while. Let them duke it out with the Old Piss fans.

My only contact [with um posters] is in response to um posters posting [mostly] on BlazerTalk, and very few interactions on CUSAbb.
Come on BlazerTalk and be an uncivilized jerk, you'll reap my wrath.

I also don't post on empty.org. Stirring them up on their own board brings them here, which reduces my enjoyment of blazertalk. I'm in favor of any step to keep the cockroach population down.

I am not joking, I am not exaggerating: I have absolutely no interest in anything any Memphis poster has to say. I do not want to debate them, I do not want to read their opinions, I do not want to interact with them in any fashion. That's why I do not post on their board.

I read their board occasionally, usually when the hot thread of the day is generating talk. I don't spend much time there, and I all but never post. I read and post on any number of chatboards and have since before Fishman was born. Basically, the rules are very simple - don't be a jackass or people won't like you. This is doubly true when you are a guest.

We have Memphis posters here that I've never had a cross word with, or any reason for one. We also have guys who come here simply to troll and stir the fecal matter. Say what you want on your board, but keep a civil tone on ours. Is that too much to ask?

I think what you find is for the most part Blazer fans don't post over there very much outside of MB. What happens is we are insulted. A Blazer or two will defend themselves and it starts. They in turn come here and when they get out of line and are handled, go back and cry about how they did nothing wrong and bring more back with them.

Another thing that happens if they are discussed on our board, someone will go post what one of us said here and they in turn not only come here and start some crap but start a thread hoping to lure one of us in on their board.

Then there is the issue of blowing things out of proportion to stir up their fan base like D20, fishbitch, and the Tigeredwards of the world.

If you go back and follow the threads it's pretty clear where the trouble starts.

I suggest we just steer clear of them. We will deal with the trouble makers when they show up.

If you go back and read my posts, you'll see how objective and reasonable I've been. How many times do I have to say it? I have nothing against UAB and have in no way "started crap." Anyway, no hard feelings. I just don't like to be misrepresented. If I've said anything personal, it was simply a reaction to an attack or insinuation directed at me personally. I haven't had a negative word to say about UAB as a program, and anything that could be otherwise construed is just good-natured ribbing on my part, all of which I've kept on our board. I haven't insulted you in your house, and I definitely didn't pee on your ****ing rug.

I did quote Fishbitch because I wanted to show our folks his intentions of why he was really posting over here. I am sorry if some Memphis fans think that is stirring things up but what do you call what people like him, Tiger Edward, and others are doing? I think you will find if you do a search I have been quoted on the Memphis board over the years a hell of allot more than I have quoted people on the Memphis board and when I post on the Memphis board I show the respect a person should give when you are a visitor even in the face of insults, personal attacks and even threats which I along with some of our other posters have received. Some posters are even gutless enough to PM threats.
I personally don't have any problems with you but I do have a problem with the ones claiming to come in peace but holding a knife behind their back.
