again with Calipari at the helm, you guys have become quite arrogant. I remember Cals first few years at Memphis and you guys severly underperformed. You know with the savior at point guard whose father was an assistant coach, I cant remember his name because he flamed out and you guys didn't make the big dance with him. Then came the three missed free throws by Mr. Darrius Washington, so close but not quite. The last couple of years you guys have been doing quite well but ONLY in the last couple of years.

UAB made the big dance 3 consecutive years prior to MD coming and inheriting a team that lost all of its players. All of those years Memphis suppositely had better talent but inferior coaching, misfits, and set many records, although criminal.

Where was memphis when C-USA had UL, Marquette, and Cincinatti. I'll tell you, in the middle of the pack. UAB actually won a conference title with the full cast of the old C-USA. This all point to Memphis being beneficial of collective change in the conference and UAB having to overcome a coaching change, yet, two short years later we are emerging to reclaim our rightful spot atop the conference.

In football, with an imposter as a coach, you couldn't beat us and you barely beat us with our depleted basketball team. Now order will be restored. Next year when Cal enters Bartow's santuary, he will kneel before Mike Davis 01-ncaabbs, kiss the ring, worship at the alter of Blazers 04-kneelsucka, and be the sacrificial lamb for the betterment of the conference.

So bash us now04-chairshot, because you will worship us later 05-uberbow.

GO BLAZERS!
Now that UAB has.................03-lmfao
Gonna have to get "low, low, low, low, low, low, low" to kneel at this guy's feet...

Didn't we have more wins in the NCAA tournament last year than you have in the last 15 years?

I am still upset we only beat them by 40.
YEAH! I know sometimes it's better to laugh than cry because it's hard to argue with or dispute the truth. Three free throws or two, it doesn't really matter, you lost and that was your best shot (no pun intended) at making the tournament under Cal to that point.

Except for the two years before when we made the tournament.

Just goes to show you what kind of impact that it had but you clearly keep up with UAB, the question is can you continue.

Not only were you wrong about the number of missed free throws....

Not only were you wrong about how many conference titles we had in the old CUSA (hint: more than UAB)...

But you are also wrong about how many times we have made the NCAA tournament under Cal (hint: the 2 years prior to Darius Washington)

Average wins a season since 2001 (including postseason):
UAB: 18
Memphis: 28

I also thought memphis had smart fans but again I was wrong. Not the first - won't be the last but I am right to treat you guys like second class C-USA citizens.
"I don't really care about winning 25 games a year but what is important to me is that we are competing." ( Mike Davis )

That is a direct quote from your coach on your own website.
I think he has a more realistic approach to dealing with Memphis than you do. His best recruit, Cousins, has known him since he was able to pick up a basketball. You trying to flame on a program like Memphis is like the chump that tried to talk crap to Niles. Memphis will swat you like the little fly that you are.
Who are you to come onto our board and speak down on us like we aren't **** when UAB definitely ain't ****. What have yall done lately, nothing, and what have you done period, not much, No NC game, Final Fours, one Elite Eight, you haven't been relevant in years as far as competing for a conference title. You coach is washed up, at least he hasn't got yall put on probation but I wouldn't be surprised when it happens. Also you ask can we continue? If you don't think we can continue go look on Scout.com or Rivals.com and look at their top 100 and count how many say Memphis, and then count how many say UAB. When yall even get close to what we have wanting to come and play for us then you can chime in and talk **** but until then go back under your bridge you F'in troll!!

Keep talking, this is waaaay too much fun. You have no idea how much you are getting laughed at right now, and even by your fellow UAB fans!

We are stupid? You are the one coming over here and basically saying we've always sucked and UAB will dominate us in the future. Even if that was remotely true, you would still be made fun of because you are trolling on our board. Since we all know (thanks to innovations called stats and facts) we have not sucked in the past, you are considered an idiot on this board.

It's very obvious this guy is a troll Memphis Blazer and thanks for clearing that up with everyone, but I am not going to lie, this thread is very funny and I am very much enjoying it. Keep it coming Mr. Unite!
