1. Banned posters are not eligible for nomination or winning a BlazerTalk award. Should a poster who was banned after being nominated win an award, the poster who receives the second most votes will be declared the winner.

2. Only registered users can be nominated for awards.

3. Should there be a tie, multiple awards / medals will be issued.

4. All final judgments, rules determinations, and modifications to the awards, rules, or any just damn thing in general will be made by the BlazerTalk Administrator based on his mood and level of alcohol in his system...........

Of course I will drag myself out to Legion Field and put myself through the torment.

That's what fans do.

Pete Fuitak, the guy who writes for CFN has a mailbag. One email asked him who his favorite fans were. His answer surprised many and resonated with me.

Basically, he said his favorite fans were fans of schools that suck. Those are the most committed, passionate fans anywhere.

Look, any idiot can be a Bama fan (and many are). Turn on any media outlet in the city and listen to them fellate your favoritest team in the world, all day every day.

Being a UAB fan is not for lightweights. You have to tolerate being wholly ignored, and when you're not being ignored, you're being mocked. You have to tolerate waiters asking you who you're for, and, after pointing to the dragon on your shirt, having them ask, "Yeah, but who're you for."

You have to tolerate Watson Brown.

Why?

Why put ourselves through that?

Because it's OUR team, dammit. Because, like fans do, we believe better day is coming. But even in the darkest days of Zero, a handfull of diehards dragged themselves out to Legion Field.

Why? Because that's what fans do.
A man like that could plan my castle onslaught any day.
