Considering that arresting illegal aliens is a FEDERAL law then I think that SFs policy as a sanctuary city affects all of us. It's libs like you and Suede who can't see the problem with people just pouring across the border. Luckily I see it everyday at work.

I didn't say anything else related to any immigration policy. I also don't believe I've ever made my views on immigration known on this board, so you don't know what my policy is on immigration. My simple point was, he's complaining about what the City of San Francisco is doing. Unless he pays taxes in California or the City of San Francisco, who cares? If that's what the citizens of SF want to spend their money on, then so be it. It's called federalism, and at one point conservatives loved it.

Yeah, but they're not being identified to see if they're even in the system or even juveniles. So all these illegals do is tell them that they're under 18 and they get a free ride home without being put into the INS system.
Considering that it costs an average $25,000 per year to incarcerate someone in the California State Prison System, more if part of the Federal Prison System, you could fly the felon first class to the destination of his choice and still be providing a discount to the California tax payers.
