It appears that what ever they were hunting, they found a lot of it and took care to protect it well.

Don't those things get in the way for bow hunting?

Short answer - nope.

It ain't like golf! The bowstring comes back to the corner of the mouth or the cheek at full draw. Because of the angle of the string from the draw point to the pulley on the bow, the string never reaches the chest.

A few years ago, Martin Archery used several gorgeous buxom women as spokesmodels, all of whom were shooters.

If the Captain is joking about these women joining his hunting club, these may be audition photos for a spokesmodel contest Martin was running a couple of years ago. If not, I WANNA JOIN YOUR CLUB TOO!
