This will be my first Father's Day without my Dad. It's going to be sad.

Sorry missj, the manners seem to have left me for that brief moment - golf does that to me sometimes however, others say it's a senior moment - I can't remember but - did I tell all I was playing golf?

Yes it is and I know to well the feeling.
I am just now getting over seeing the Father's Day cards without crying.
Its been four years for me and I now can focus more on how wonderful for Dad to be rid of a failing body and with God. It would be horrible to wish him back here in the condition he was in.
You too will reach that point.

It has been the week from Hell. I'm going to work in about 30 minutes after about 6 hours at my other job. I have to work all weekend. MMMM, sounds fun. Working 55 hours a week really makes me really look foward to starting back at the uofm in the fall

I'm retired and everyday is Saturday, and I don't do any thing I don't want to (unless my recently retired wife orders me to do something).
