That's the banner of the sixpack board for MSU athletics. Tells you what they think of their trip to LATech coming up.
ouch
They are pretty good trash talkers. Here's what one said about USM:

"They (USM) have half ass facilities, and play in a bottom beater conference.
They are that fat kid that wants to kick it with the cool kid and the chicks
but just cant cut it."

And USM won ten out the last 14 games against them before they decided to run and hide like the gutless program they are.. That is all USM fans have to say. Can LaTech say they won ten out the last 14 games against an SEC team?

We smoked 'em 38-23 in Starkville the last time we played them (1996). It was actually 38-7 late in the 4th quarter and they got 2 scores and 2 two point conversions. I'd love to send them back to their prime-time stadium and campus with another butt-kicking like that one.
Our other win against them was when Bradshaw was at Tech, we beat them 20-13 in Starkville (1968).
We beat USM that same year (1968)... 27-20 in H'burg. We are 7-9 against USM since 1968.

I was at the last game in H'burg in 1992. Ya'll beat us on a last second FG to win 16-13. We had a great defense that year. We lost to Alabama (National Champs) 13-0 and Ole Miss beat us in Oxford 13-6. South Carolina beat us in Columbia 14-13. If we would have had a decent offense, we probably would have been a Top 10 team. I think ya'll took our DC the next year... John Thompson.
Really liked the Tech teams of the 90s. Enjoyed cheering you on :)
This really is breaking news that an SEC team thinks their better than a non-AQ conference team. Y'all should call your local sports editors...they'll wanna do a special I'm sure.

Trust me, Louisiana Tech is looking forward to what Miss St fans think of us on August 30th (on ESPN2).

04-cheers

Mississippi State wins by 21 at least....

I hope you can beat them, but I really think Croom has them started in the right direction. Actually glad, as that program had become a disgrace to the state.

It's no news flash that we don't compare to a SEC team. MSU did well last year and I'm hoping for a great game and possibly a great upset. It's better than playing @LSU at least.

I am actually glad that they feel that way and hope they come into Ruston overlooking us. That also makes for good locker room material for Louisiana Tech.

I wonder if that was some couch potato never been to a game that posted that or if he will be making it to Ruston to root on his team. Come watch the high school game and do not be surprised if the supposed high school team is better than you expect.

Wait a minute....MSU is playing AT La. Tech? They'll play La. Tech AT Ruston but won't play Southern Miss IN Hattiesburg? Isn't La. Tech's stadium smaller than Southern Miss' stadium? I thought MSU didn't want to play Southern Miss because our stadium is too small (even though Nebraska, Kansas, Cal, Texas A & M, Illinois, NC State, OSU didn't seem to think so).

Agree with this 100%. Good, honest comments. Cheers!

Yes, you are right. Louisiana Tech is hosting Mississippi State in Ruston on August 30th. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
DATE GAME MATCHUP TIME (ET) NETWORK
Sat., Aug. 30 Mississippi State at Louisiana Tech 6:45 p.m. ESPN2

Tech's stadium is 30,600, but they will try to squeeze in ~40,000 in Joe Aillet Stadium (including endzones) instead of playing in Shreveport, where Tech usually hosts it's BCS opponent games such as Texas A&M, Miami, and Oklahoma State.
