that explored the possible legal challenges to "Home School" alternatives to public or private schools? When I entered my opinion (parade.com) on 6/2/08, there were already 30 "pages" of replies and opinions on the article with several replies that were entered for each of many of those listed.
BTW, The survey that asked if people supported requiring some form of teacher training for those who wished to "home-school" drew a 90% "NO" vote. Does that indicate that people feel it's a parent/child area which is nobody's business or does it simply indicate the level of public respect for those who do go to college to prepare to professionally teach our children? Do they believe great teachers are "born" and training through college preparation is wasted time?
