I think a few posters got banned for no good reason. Then a take over of their board started and now all UCF fans are banned. It turned into a major overreaction on ECU's site.
Ecu can do what they want on their board.. I wasnt part of what happened and threads were closed by next day when I went on.. OTM isn't a bad guy but is a bit delusional he thinks his board will play some roll in what happens at ECU. Good luck to them in Baseball regionals.. and have fun on your board.

I have heard it all, you guys are the victims .. Except the truth is this isn't the first time your sad sack fan base has done this to our board or other college boards just for the fun of it. Hell you have had posters post links on BBS inviting CUSA fans to help UCF take over & $hit up other boards many of which had probably never even thought of you, I seem to recall Nova or Seton Hall, I think Alabama & a couple others you pulled this garbage on. It was a weekly "gaming" activity your little toolbag fans planned days in advance a few months back to show their 12 years old mentality of your fan base to go crap up other boards. You even came around bragging about it over here about how cool it was & showing your a$$ around the nation.

This was nothing like just going over to another board and debating, or even smack talking. OTM has let that go on for years now with very little restriction. Several hundred of their posters planned at a certain times to come over bomb & overwealm the board with spam & other useless BS, crapping up all the topic threads or pushing them off the first page. That required a lot of clean up by OTM. This was the 2nd time they did it, & hardly the first time they have done it to other boards, and yet Knightlytimes classifies it as a "major overreaction" and OTM's fault.

The whole takeover thing didn't start until one guy got banned for posting that stupid expansion article out of Syracuse. Then it was a stupid takeover thing that typically lasts for about an hour. OTM then deleted all UCF fans from their website. Even ones that were not involved. That is as childish as the other act.
I was always at least semi-respectful on OTM's site. It doesn't make sense why I was banned, but I won't lose any sleep over it.

Got to say I agree with you...I may wander over to an opponents site the week of a football game to see what their thoughts are or even earlier if it's a road game that I'm going to so that I can suggestions on where to stay, eat, etc...but I can't see why I would get pissed about what ECU fans are saying/doing on their board.
I didn't know any East Carolina used other ECU boards besides boneyardbanter.
I think it speaks volumes to the fact that our ECU rivals board has banned more UCF posters then NCST posters. We have had a blood fued with NCST for years and get into world class pissing matches from time to time but sprinkled with some intelligent conversation. What I get from the UCF Rivals site and it is not a slam just an observation that mostly kids post over there.
I enjoy conversing with UCF fans and usually come here to do it. I like Rivals during football season because it is easy to go over to the opponents board and talk football the week leading up to the game. A little smack is fine but the ECU vs UCF stuff on rivals got out of hand and to be fair there was some fairly stupid threads going on about UCF on our rivals site and that did not help at all. The smack usually comes down to the perceived underlying BigEast contest of my johnsons bigger then your johnson.
OTM loves ECU and has done a great job of building that rivals site. I have seen him give plenty of people a lot of rope to hang themselves but when a guy that has a full time job has to take time out of his working day to referee immature threads or worse people screwing up his site in the middle of the night then it has gotten out of hand and I don't blame him at all for what he did.

I think it's funny that people expect folks on other boards to view their school/teams with great respect while they then trash anyone and everyone on their own boards then act shocked/hurt when others return the favor. You then have the concerted UCF attack on a board affectionately known to many ECU fans as Piratefans.nuts and it's a recipe for lunacy.

Yep real nuts within the community such as Chesapeake Pirate, Pirate Al, RollingOx, Bluewaterpirate, & Mr Shore Buc all that have all paid several hundred just to be members of the nut house. If you were making a top 10 of the most respected pirate posters period on any board I think most of those names would show up. Be thankful we actually have a modern national board a recruit might actually stumble on to checking out their grades.

Please, it's not even comparable. There is a difference in a "couple idiots" going over to your board and running their mouth, which you have more of those as well of which no one said anything about, and a planned "take over" where you spam bomb complete BS and crap up entires board like its some muliti player online game.
