Does anyone know if the Rocky Top Basketball League (I think that's the name of it) will run again this summer? I think it was held at Bearden H.S. last year.

It was such a success last year, glad its back. But I sure wish they could of had it at Oak Ridge High School's brand new AIR CONDITIONED arena.

I wonder if any Bucs will be playing? Didn't CP play last year?

Hope so. Swader, Pigram and Reed all played last year, but not every game.

We have enough guys here in the summer to fill a full team. I do wonder how interested our guys will be in playing in it though. It was not very organized last year and the playing conditions were horrible.

I saw were the organizer said there were no air conditioned gyms in the city of Knoxville. I can't believe that. How many are air conditioned in the Tri-Cities where it is cooler?
I think it is limited to either 2 or 3 guys from the same college to be on a the same team. Otherwise, the NCAA would consider it an organized team practice taking place during the summer.
It would be best if all the big guys and all the freshmen from ETSU would participate.
