I see that MotherDucker's IP address is from MediaGeneral. So he works in the local news media! Who could it be?!
That may also lead you to jump to a false assumption. Media General is a large company with interests throughout the southeast. I would also bet that Pitt has worked with many people in the media and perhaps one of those former cohorts enjoys haunting him.

Look, I've said it before. This board is THE place people go to get the public opinion.
It's not Bill Meade because he discusses more national stuff.
It's not Helman because his show generally has so many co-hosts. Therefore instead of taking calls from fans his show is more designed to talk among the co-hosts.
It's not the newspapers or TV sportscasts because they don't have the give-and-take. It's one way.
This is the place.
So a member of the sports media could be jealous and make an attempt to discredit what we do on here. I know there was one sportswriter at the BHC years ago- he's in Greenwood, South Carolina now- who would come on the Dead Board and try to discredit me.
My favorite was when this guy would private message me if Pitt lost a basketball game. Like I cared.
But the fact is I'm here. You're not going to shut me up. And this forum may not be the Johnson City Press, but ultimately it's where the insiders go.
And the thing is, the people who have tried to discredit me- all they've done is make me more powerful. If Mullins had returned one of my calls when I broke how they covered up the DeChellis interview he might have been able to nip criticism in the bud.

Now if we can just convince him that Kennesaw State basketball will be the dominant program in Georgia this season, we're all set!
I propose we get back at KSU by all going to the ETSU-KSU game down there next season.
