King was talking to him about Natalee Holloway. Now, why in the world would you want to consult someone that is a sports talk radio host and writes sports columns about something like this? I know he's big in Alabama but it just seems silly.
I really hope they find this girl alive and well. I hate hearing about stories like this every week.
He's big in talk radio in general. His mouth has gotten him in trouble talking about the Scrushy trial as well. Scrushy in fact has filed a defamation suit against Finebaum... as well as The Birmingham News and the New York Times.
I just don't understand, though, why national media think he's somekind of expert on anything from Alabama. He made a fool of himself, I thought, when he was interviewed on 60 Minutes about Scrushy, and it's not like he was a family friend of this girl. Finebaum is just a blowhard. But, then again, so are most of the talking heads on TV, King included.

Finebaum's commentary about UAB is enough to discount him wholly.
