Hello, East Carolina fans. I cover Marshall University athletics for a West Virginia newspaper. I was hoping you all could recommend some hotels that are a) close to the football stadium, b) in safe neighborhoods and c) easy to get to and from on game day. I will be making my first trip to Greenville this season and would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks in advance, and good luck to the Pirates this year. Also, how far is the airport from the stadium? And, heck, while you all are at it, are there any must-visit restaurants in the area? Thanks again.

The Hilton of Greenville is a pretty nice place and it's about 3 miles or so from the stadium.
