This is not great news. We need Memphis to be a top ten team. This helps our RPI and gets more people to Bartow when they come here to play. Our league gets little positive attention now. We can help change that by becoming a top ten team ourselves.

Haven't quite nailed down Devin Ebanks (not Eubanks) yet.
We've already pulled in Tyreke Evans, Angel Garcia, and Matt Simpkins. We're still working on Ebanks and Wesley Witherspoon.
I don't expect '08-'09 to be a repeat of this past season. In all likelihood, our starters will be Kemp, Evans, Anderson, Dozier, and Taggart.
UAB and Tulsa are gonna make it interesting next season.

UAB fans who keep thinking that it helps UAB for Memphis to be better than UAB are extremely misguided.
Let Memphis have a down year and have a couple of conference teams beat them. That brings a lot better attention to the conference rather than have Memphis run through it undefeated. When that happens the attention is on Memphis, not on CUSA.

Memphis will have a down year eventually...but as long as Cal is here, a down year is a 20+ win season with an NIT Final Four.
