It's time for the coveted Jackass of the Year Award.

The honored nominees are:

Memphis Blazer
Flying Mouse
cagefighter
I LOVE GOLDEN GIRLS
Copperblazer
blazerfan13
macblaze
AlphaDog
Yowza...this race is kind of competitive...and that's probably not a good thing!
I cannot believe myself and Blazr are not on this list....We are both Jackasses. Blazr more than me.
Results are surprising to me so far. I must be missing something.
Why wasn't grammar nazi nominated?
I am genuinely flattered :)

This isn't the Mempiss board.

Just because I made the mistake of posting on the Memphis board doesn't make me a Memphis fan.

So, I go from MVP one year to Jackass of the Year the next????03-lmfao
I think that there are some folks who dislike hearing uncomfortable truths. I think you pretty much tell it like it is, unvarnished... but there are folks who will say you're negative all the time.

Personally, I think its ridiculous that FM is on the list for a couple of these awards. He's getting associated with posters he shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath with. Personal animosity clouds judgment.
People also don't like being told they don't know anything about basketball and they should buy a clue at Walmart. They don't like being talked down to all the time.

I personally think these awards are ridiculous, are repititive (I mean what is the difference between the biggest homer and the biggest die-hard fan) and prone to drive wedges between the wedges. Some consider it fun, but others are hurt they aren't recognized, or insulted they are voted for in some categories. The lack of nominations this year either show there was very little interest or that people are more comfortable insulting people anonymously by voting than nominating someone for a jackass openly.

Now everyone go vote for me for "Most Opinionated Poster" 03-lmfao

Didn't you learn not to say things like that?

I agree with you 100%, most of these EXPERTS on football on here too have never put on a helmet.

But they are the experts 01-wingedeagle?

When I say something that most the fans are saying by not showing up to the games, I am crucified. Ignorance is rampant.........

BTW, Mouse you are my favorit e poster you are not a JA although I do not always agree with you.

My wife gives me this award every year.

I agree about the getting talked down to - but there is a lot of ignorant opinion expressed here. One man's opinion is another man's idiocy.

In general I agree re the crappys - they go too long and they've gotten bloated. They can be fun, but they can also be kinda lame... and that's before some sphincter muscle from the Memphis board decided to screw with them.

I already voted for you in "Opinionated" 03-wink and I thought it was a well considered vote. I note with interest that you too were nominated in this category along with FM. I didn't vote for either of you though, there were far larger jackasses nominated.

We should just have one award for next year. The biggest troll award. No what a minute. They usually are banned before the end of the year. Nevermind.

If someone honestly gets their feelings hurt over being or not being nominated for a particular thread, then they need to get outside more. Those kind of people remind me of Sax.

The number of votes received have grown all 4 years...... It may break 100 for the first time.
