In any case Blazersax, I don't know you or the situation that you are in, but it sounds like you need some help. I am absolutely serious when I ask this...have you thought about going to the counseling center at UAB? As a student, the services are free and the counselors are really great people. They will listen to your concerns, talk you through some of the tough times, and can just be there for you when you need someone to listen. Some people feel that you have to be 'crazy' to go to counseling, but I am a strong advocate that counselors are some of the greatest people in the world. They really can prove to be helpful in many situations. Their services are confidential, so no one would have to know whether you are going or not (unless you tell people), and you call the shots.
I'm not all about psycho babble, but I am a strong believer that everyone at some point in their life could benefit from counseling (not that everyone seeks it...some people can make it on their own). Please strongly consider this. As I said, I don't know you, but as a fellow Blazer fan, I do want you to be happy so that those around you can share in your life and your experiences.
One last thing, as stupid as it probably sounds to you at this point in your life, don't worry about not having a girlfriend (Keep reading...I'm not trying to be silly). It may sound corny, but make the most of those around you at this point in your life...the more you enjoy life, the more attractive you will be to those girls that you like. I know that it probably sounds like a Catch 22, but try it out for a month or two. I would almost guarantee that you will see more positive interaction with those around you if you yourself are positive.
Take my advice, don't take my advice, or do whatever. However, don't forget that you are a member of the Blazer family, so there will always be someone who cares what happens to you.

I think he needs a cold beer and to get laid. Then he needs to join the army or marines. THEN he can come back and finish school and he will be much better for it with money in his pocket and a girl on each shoulder kicking butt and taking names. Otherwise, what you see is what you get.

7. Get a job...Starbucks has a really good tuition reimbursement program and Sax would probably fit in there well
8. Grow up
9. Stop thinking "woe is me"
10.Stop asking questions like this because there will be a response that he doesn't like and he'll end up telling them not to question him, not to judge him, not to tell him what to do, to stop being insensitive, to go to hell, to not criticize him, etc. After that he will delete this entire thread.

When I worked at the Cajun Steamer, I had male customers order Smirnoff Ice all the time. I never laughed at them. Oh yeah, I remember why....because I'm not an A$$HOLE.
