have a review up after I check it out.

I have liked all their cds...even though Amorica and Three Snakes and one Charm I thought were their weakest efforts.
Hmmm a sort of track by track review...
1) Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution
Mid temp tune along the lines of tunes off Amorica.
2) Walk Beleiver Walk
A more ROCK tune along the lines of Shake Your Money Maker. Sung in a bluesy feel...but sounds more rock like.
--a fave off the cd!
3) O, Josephine
Slow tempo tune...along the lines of most stuff of Southern Harmony/ By Your Side. A cool chill out song.
4) Evergreen
Anotehr more rock tune along hte lines of Shake Your Money Maker/ Lions. Has slow spots and rock spots... kind of a cool balance of sounds.
5) We Who See The Deep
Mid tempo rock tune...I'd say more of a Amorica/Shake Your Money Maker style. Good riffs in it. Kind of has that bluesy tone to the singing and rythem to it.
6) Locust Street
Feels like a bonus track off Southern Harmony/ By Your Side. Slow mellow tune.... not too bad...another chill out song....actually....could remind you of material off Three Snakes.
7) Movin' Down the Line
--same comments as above... more backing vocals though.... I like Locus Street better.
8) Wounded Bird
Sounds like something off of Lions/Shake Your Money Maker. Nice little rockin tune.... reminds me of some Lynyrd Skynyrd stuff.
-- a fave of mine
9) God's Got It
musically it reminds me of something off the more rocking songs of Amorica...aka a lot of the tamborine used in it w/ a nice little riff.
10) There's Gold in Them Hills
SLOW tune.... more along the lines of Souther'ns slow tunes and By Your Side. kind of mellow tune --sung again, in a bluesy rythem. Again a cool chill out song.
11) Whoa Mule
a bare bones slow song.... kind of cool... sounds like something off By YOur Side more than anything else.
Overall...a very solid cd by them. I still have to say Shake Your Money Maker > Southern Harmony... > Lions ....and then welll this would be above Amorica overall.... and since it rocks more than By Your Side or THree Snakes.... it would fit somewhere in the middle.
I generally prefer the rockier/up tempp tunes more than their slow stuff.
A buyalbe worthy cd IMHO.
