The computer was asleep for a couple of minutes and I got on the Rivals board to read a few posts and was amazed people were talking about making the NIT tourney and then I about passed out...some talk by a couple of people about making the NCAA's. WOW, I know we could make it by winning the tourney....but the Blue and Gold glasses are really out big time....I don't even see the NIT as an outside possibility....This is the smaller field, not the one from a few years ago. Also where is the big improvement for next year, OK, Jordan, gets a little better but he isn't doing that bad this year, plus where is the PF for next year. I will say one thing if you want to play, come to Tulsa, everybody on the team plays double digit minutes almost every game....which of course I don't agree with. I would much rather have 7-8 guys play 95% of the minutes!!

The biggest problem is just about the time everyone starts agreeing that we need some coaching changes, the team goes out and puts on awesome performance, (kinda like the 2nd half against memphis, and the UTEP game.) which seems to buy Coach W a couple more games.

No way an insult to the Tulsa team but they just are not as athletic all the way around as a team needs to be to compete in D1 basketball.
