I can't believe someone will post this sh*t... J.P Prince is not even worth my time or the Memphis program...
02-24-2008, 04:44 PM
Calipari can diss the pope and I'd be fine with it
02-24-2008, 04:45 PM
cal just told jp if he wanted to come to commit. since prince couldnt commit at that time cal gave the scholarship to cdr. imo that was a fortunate choice.
02-24-2008, 04:50 PM
Prince is a head case who scored a few easy buckets in transition...wow.
Sorry PJ, but we're fortunate CDR is in Memphis and you're in Knoxville.

Just tell PJ to shut up. If he wanted to be here so bad than he would have commited. Instead he goes to AZ, pouts when he does not gets his way and gets lucky he finds a coach as whiny and underhanded as he is.
02-24-2008, 04:56 PM
Frankly, who really cares other than Prince? He had his shot to be a Tiger, and didn't take it. Did the guy think he was supposed to get a hero's welcome or what?

Not me.

In answer to the question......Prince can argue that he took it that way.
Since nobody else is in his head, we'll never know.
A couple of more 3s, a couple of more free throws, a few more rebounds and it wouldn't matter one way or the other.

Apparently Prince took it as a "dissing"...at least that what he says.
Calipari's assignment this week is to re-read "The Art of War".

A poster asked a question. No harm in that.
On one hand, it's the old......If one is not intersted in a thread or a question or a statement.........skip the thread.
But I understand TIGER fans frustrations today

It was still childish of Cal to provoke him. I mean what is the upside? I wouldn't trade Cal for anybody but he could just shut his pasta hole sometimes.

you should shut your pasta hole now

I think Cal is human..don't tell anybody but he does make a few mistakes. I'm sure he just misspoke.

Who said Cal provoked him?
You think Coach Cal isn't smarter than that.
Where do these people come from?

Seems like JP felt slighted from other people than Cal. I read somewhere that JP found that Doneal had been talking trash at the barbershop that they both go too. He said, that got him going also.
02-24-2008, 07:55 PM
Looks to me like PJ is just looking for a reason to have a chip on his shoulder.
One of the reason I am glad he is where he is and we have CDR.
Go Tigers!

Got him going? Guys like the other guy said he scored a few easy baskets!! We are very lucky he is on that side of the state and we got CDR! Let's get over this whole thing.

He's still mad because Memphis showed his dad the door. He needs to get over it finally... nobody here knows or cares who he is.

If he's using it as areason to have a chip on his shoulder, he's no different than so many around here that have used the "chip on the shoulder" thing all year. If that truly motivated him, I guess it was smart of him to do so.

We all remember (or should remember) the recruiting of Prince.
Cal said the train is moving -- either get on board or miss it.
J.P. didn't want to commit right away.
However, CDR committed and had never stepped foot on campus.
If J.P. really wanted to be a Tiger, why did he want to wait to commit?

J.P. wants it to be all about J.P. Before the game he was afraid the Tiger fans wouldn't care enough about him to boo him (which they didn't). He wanted it to be like it was when all the Tiger fans booed Tony Harris whenever he touched the ball several years ago.
Guess what J.P., Tiger fans could care less about you before and after the game.

JJ you hit the nail on the head. PJ, JP, BJ or whatever he is called, is all about himself. Why would he wonder before trhe game if the fans would cheer or boo him? Unless you went to White Station when he went there I doubt if anyone would recognize him on the street. To compare himself to Harris iis a total jerk. The only reason bradshaw was booed because he ran that mouth. I suspect that if BP is around in 2 years he will be booed, because I am sure he will not be able to keep that mouth shut.

That can't be the first time in his life someone got the letters backwards. Well, PJ, thanks for letting everyone you'll ever play against that you don't like being called PJ. If it had bottered him and he had said nothing, no one would know. But, since he let his opponents know that it bothers him, he will be know as PJ the rest of his life. Smart move PJ.
