UAT struggling with a mediocre (or bad) Arkansas team... and the game is in Tuscaloosa no less.
#20 UAT- 17
Arkansas- 13
In the 4th Quarter...
Arkansas has racked up 230+ yards rushing to Alabama's 130 or so rushing yards.
Wow... maybe UAT's rush D isnt as stout as everyone is buying in to.
#20 UAT- 24
Arkansas- 13
FINAL
Closer game than the score would indicate.
Still can't believe UAT is ranked.
if arkansas had a half decent qb then they would have won. brodie is perhaps the most overhyped player ever. he was overthrowing receivers left and right. anytime there was a little pressure around him he'd make a bad pass.

I thought the same thing.
That guy for Arkansas couldn't throw to save his life.
It's amazing how bad a team can look when they have a mediocre or bad QB.
Let's hope UAB doesn't find itself in that situation next year ...
Arkansas wouldn't be half bad if they had a QB that could make some plays ...
Arkansas - Matt Jones
Kentucky - Jarred Lorenzen
Mississippi - Eli Manning
All examples of teams whose success has been dependent on their quarterback. Once their QB is gone, the replacement has not been successful.
Now, I'm a Bama fan & student -- and I'll take 4-0, given all we've been through -- but I'm still worried. If we can't score in the first half and can't defend the pass (and keep trying to pass to the side and run up the middle), Florida is going to eat our lunch.
Roll Tide!
Go SU!
I've always believed the old nugget, "QB's get too much credit when you win, and too much blame when you lose."
But now I wonder.
I've seen so many games this year that seemed as though the experienced QB made the difference.
Which is why I hope like crazy WB will hang enough points on a few teams early enough for Williams, Wilmott, etc. to get some meaningful reps.

brodie definitely had an off game, he didn't seem to be there mentally and the receivers sure didn't help him by dropping the passes he did get to them. of course the game would have been a lot easier if freddie roach(mlb #8) could catch, he would have had 3td's if he could just hang onto the ball. typical arkansas game, they came out and played smashmouth football, last year bama would have lost this game, but they are a much better team this year and pulled out a win while playing a terrible game.
no, brodie had his usual game. he's a mediocre qb. why cant u realize this?
