Wow, what a surprise. A liberal blog in support of Huckabee.
Rush doesn't like Huck because of this: He's not a fiscal conservative. Sure, he's a social conservative, but Rush cares less about that than he does about small government & lower taxes. He also doesn't like Huck's stand on immigration either, and I can't really blame him.
Huckabee is just Bush in a more polished package in my opinion. Actually, I liked Bush better because although he spent money like an idiot, he at least cut taxes too.

No, not at all. I wish we had a balanced budget amendment. I don't believe anyone should go into debt unless it's an investment that will show profits eventually.

The reason Huckabee drives these guys crazy is that for years the bozos who don't have a pot to pi@@ in have voted republican because the big dogs paid lip service to them. Huckabee takes both their religion and their economic needs seriously and the rich folks get scared.
They want them to line up like sheep and let the smart folks handle it. Huck seems to be reachingthe reagan democrats and would probably knock Hillary out inthe general election, but they don't care.
