I haven't seen the games but Tulsa seems to be scoring at a much better clip recently. I presume the coach finally decided the hell with it, just go out and play and have fun. They have to be running a little and shooting a lot more to get around the 90 point mark or higher. I hope this was a case of over coaching and he finally decided to set them free and let them play!!!
I'm sure you will find people that see it that way but from my viewpoint it's just a matter of a few inches. The first TU game I saw on the computer the guys shot like 30%. The ball would be slightly long or slightly short and I saw probably a half dozen or more that were half-way down and pop out. What I've seen the last few games were those same shots dropping in. When the shots fall that allows you to set up your defense to stop the other team and everything just builds. I haven't seen less coaching or anything like that, just more shots going down. Players go through shooting slumps but what hurt TU was that every player on the team other than Ben Uzoh and maybe Glenn Andrews was in a slump at the same time.
