During the semi final game last night on ESPN 2, the Appalachian State University Chancellor was interviewed.

I cannot remember his exact words, but he stated the success of the ASU football program has let to more freshman applications for admission, plus the academic quality of these applicants has increased.

Take that and run with it.
Just remember ETSU's enrollment is the highest ever
Take away the HOPE scholarship. It's the slowest growth of any of the state supported schools best I remember from the stats shown me. And how many of those kids that enrolled in the fall were there after week five?

That's not really anything unusual when winning 1AA Championships. For example JMU's applicant pool doubled after they won the football championship.
