Fair enough. I was pretty drunk when I posted that. That songs not bad, but I would like to hear it w/out having to be distracted by Scarlett Johanson. That's one movie that I have to watch. I tried watching it once, but I caught it maybe 30 minutes in and could never get into it. So I gave up after 5 minutes.
I could go for that too.
I could go for that too.
Pollard said their won't be a GBV reunion, because he is GBV or something to that extent.

crappy sound, crappy sightlines...the place just wasnt built for concerts
I saw Urge Overkill open for the Pixies there and what I found interesting was how the acoustics of the hall changed the live dynamic of the Urge Overkill set. The spaciness gave their sound a whole new place. It made every guitar riff larger than life and everything sounded huge. While they've always had that element of 70s rock, in the Aragon, they sounded like they were rockin' anthems in an arena circa 1976. The place plays much larger than it is. So, I found it fun, especially with a band I've seen a number of times. The place was packed by time the Pixies played, so it didn't have quite the affect it had earlier in the night.

Touche!
Actually I've heard from some people that the natural acoustic are actually pretty decent..you can hear a conversation on stage all the way in the back of the hall. The problem is most sound engineers dont know how the mix for the building and crank everything way up...which makes the end result sound like you're listening to the concert through a bowl of soup.
