I have been hearing too many people talking about buying out Bower. Please do not allow emotions cause you to screw up. JB is a very good coach. The problem is not with JB it is with the illegal monopoly known as the BCS. The BCS schools are using the money and the exposure to widen the gap between BCS school and non BCS schools. No coach is going to come into the situation we have in C-USA and other non BCS conferences and do a better job than what coach Bower is doing right now. If by chance a coach is lucky enough to get a few players in and have a few more wins. That coach will not stick around long. We have a decent line up of coaches in the C-USA. We just do not have the political and financial power that the BCS school have. Until we can bust up this monopoly we can change coaches as many times as we want but things are not going to be where they were pre BCS days. All we can do is to hope for a non BCS school in a conference like the WAC to go undefeated each year. This way we can get the BCS in court in a state where there are no BCS schools. So keep your chin up keep Coach Bower and pray that Hawaii can run the table. We have a chance of having a non BCS team go undefeated and get left out of a BCS bowl while a 3 or 4 loss BCS teams gets an invite. We want the most dramatic example of the uneven playing field possible to get this monopoly in court and to have it desolved. Of course the triple damages non BCS school could get out of the deal is not bad either.
