Wow! I thought I was the only one concerned about the size of our football field. I really think someone screwed up on this one. =)
Anymore thoughts as the football field is being smoothed out?? It still looks close... I am concerned that they will not have adequate room for expansion. Someone asked me today if CU was planning an overhead walking bridge across 421... seems that a lot of people will park on the campus side and walk to the football stadium.
I'm anxious to see, Saturday, how low they were able to dig down for the field. I heard they'll bring in dirt and make a birm to further form the "bowl". Back in the summer, someone said the FieldTurf will be installed around January.
I've heard others express concern about the pedestrian crossing across 421. Would a bridge fall in the hands of DOT? I envision a whole bunch of law enforcement and orange pylons controlling things until something else is done.
i doubt future expansion includes end zones. im sure we are looking at the home and away sides for now.
