Today at noon. Starts at 14th street, running down 10th Ave. to 19th St, then heads to University and ends back at 14th.

our VP is having a contest, best departmental banner for the parade wins free lunch, so we came up with this entry:

Everyone who can (student, alumni etc...) Should definitley try to make it. If you do come scream loudest for the old green truck carrying gang green cause thats me drivin and is my truck...and yes I will be writing messages on the glass

Ill be wearing a bright green jersey, #35, riding on an 18 wheeler-sized flat bed trailer.

I am giving my staff the option to take a late lunch and go see the parade. Several of us are doing that. I'll be on the corner of University and 19th street, wearing a gray UAB shirt and a gray hat.

Got pictures coming soon. They're uploading now. They're crappy because I was in a bad spot and all I had was my phone, but they're better than nothing

In the bright green shirts. Unless I wanted to take pictures of their asses, I had to take the pictures right into the sun which my poor phone's camera couldn't handle.

From the amount of different pictures I saw, that WAS a long parade--quite a bit longer than the strolls down University I remember.

Why was the dragon fighting the hot dog? That float was a bit confusing...
