My mom is going to the Miss Mississippi pageant at the Saenger Theater.
The pageant happens to be on Oct 13 at 7:00 -- just in time for homecoming traffic.
She's staying at the Holiday Inn off 49 near the I-59 interchange.
I imagine there's no way to avoid game traffic, but I'd like to get some advice as to which way she should go to and from the theater.
Direction Options
It looks like the 49-42 junction and the 42-Main St junction are probably pretty confusing for an out-of-towner.
Which way would be better before the game? I think she'll miss the bulk of game traffic since kickoff is at 6:30 and the pageant doesn't start until 7:00.
Which way would be better after the game? I'm guessing the pageant and the game will both be finishing up around the same time.

- From 49, take 59 South to Hardy St. Go east on Hardy to Front St., then left on Forrest St.
- From 49 merge left onto 42. From 42 merge right onto Main St. Right on W. Pine St, left on Forrest St.
