phillis are 1.5 back and Maine's ERA is finally over 4 where it belongs.
What about the Red Sox? This was supposed to be the year the Yankees division titles streak ended. Their pitching is falling apart and their lead is down to 2.5. They keep this up and they will be playing them selves into the WC.

whoa, whoa, you can't use that as an excuse, those 2 always get hurt. That's like saying the brewers got a bad break when sheets got hurt.

for sure. With the emergence of Kennedy and chamberlain, the Yankees are all of a sudden as good, if not better. A lot depends on Mussina.

If the moose can pitch the rest of the way like he did last night, they should have no problem catching the Sawx... They're paying Roger 30 million per start to stink it up... Bet ya George isn't to happy about that one...
were just trying to copy the cards run last year

would you be?

things are looking good. alou extends his streak(meaning healthy) and mets gain a game
go phils!
Red Sawx drop another...
2 1/2 weeks left, 7 game lead, pedro's back, alou is hitting... and the phillies win the east.
