I work in an office mixed with Pirates, Pups, and Holes.

The Pups are sulking, look downtrodden and depressed.
The Holes are beating their chests talking about a top 25 ranking and a potential national title run this year.
The Pirates are all being very quiet, but have that "We know something you don't know" smirk on their face.

4 days to the first home game and it ain't coming fast enough!

Glorious, glorious college football season.

What time is that home opener? The name of the school we are playing seems to be escaping me at this point.

It's gonna be funny this year.

Pirates log, September 6, 2007:

- Tailgate menu nailed down.
- 2007 Game 1 Tailgate CD created.
- Weekend plans finalized.
- Standout attendee from the "I Don't Want To Be A Tarhole No More" educational seminar invited.
- Low grade smack talk for the week done.
- Prayers that "Atlantic Weather System" stays away until Saturday at ~10pm sent.
- Patience running low. Make. It. Be. Saturday.

I was thinking that rain may actually help us. Our defense could pin their ears back and attack!
