i was at a ducks game a few weeks ago. Offerman was actually playing SS. carl everett was there too. He was a fat load and couple barely move in LF.

kind of a big difference between getting hit with a bat and getting hit with a ball.
well we could give the pitcher a bat too unless of course your in the american league in which it would have to be the designated hitter.
i'm confused. i thought you were comparing a pitcher throwing at a hitter, to a hitter running at the pitcher with a bat?
