So last Saturday, I was offered tickets to go see the Astros-Dodgers game on Tuesday night. While driving to Houston from Lafayette, Craig Biggio announced he was retiring at the end of the season.

So here I am, a die hard Biggio fan, who grew up idolizing the man, and now I'm going see him in his final season. This couldn't get any better...or could it?

But it gets better. Biggio steps up to the plate in the bottom of the 6th with the game tied at 3 and the bases loaded. Baseball intuition in me, says record this. And so with that on the first pitch he sees.....

Biggio hits a grand slam....and I recorded it!

Those are sweet seats. I once got to sit down in that area but I was 10-13 rows farther back. I heard that Slam on the radio as I was driving home from work. Wish I could have been at the game.
