A state trooper accused of receiving oral sex from a porn actress during a traffic stop earlier this month was fired Thursday.

Trooper James Randall Moss, 40, had spent 10 years with the THP's parent agency, the state Safety Department.

He had been on administrative leave in recent days as the allegations against him drew international attention via the Internet.

Porn actress Justis Ellen Richert, 21, of Knoxville, had posted an explicit narrative on her Internet blog of her encounter with a trooper earlier this month in Wilson County.

She claimed on her Web site that Moss pulled her over for speeding, and she had drugs in her pink Honda, which she referred to as "happy pills." She said she gave him oral sex, and he looked the other way on the drugs, actually throwing them out on the roadside.

Moss could face criminal prosecution in connection with the incident, and information about the case is being turned over to Wilson County prosecutor Tommy Thompson, the Safety Department said in a statement.

State Safety Commissioner Dave Mitchell said the agency is also reviewing two previous traffic stops involving Moss.

Investigation fizzled
In one case, in 2000, a female trucker told investigators that Moss asked her to reveal her breasts to him during a traffic stop on an Interstate 40 on-ramp, according to state records. Moss told her he liked being a police officer because of the women he encountered, records show. He told the driver that he had had "some of them flash him," according to the trucker's narrative of the stop. He also asked the driver a sexually suggestive question, according to her account.
"You wouldn't flash me just a little bit?" he said, according to her account.
Moss denied to investigators that he made such a statement.

An internal investigation was inconclusive, because authorities had only the trucker's word against that of Moss, who was not disciplined.

Sounds like she fell for the breathalizer trick.
