I'm probably one of the bigger Edge fans around here, and he is now a THREE TIME World heavyweight champion.
Kennedy lost his MITB because he got hurt at a house show over the weekend, and will be out for the next 5-7 months. With Kennedy and Undertaker both injured, Smackdown needed a quick shot of new blood, and Edge is just the man for the job.
Now, when Kennedy comes back, he's going to be one of the most over faces on SmackDown. If Edge is still the champion, THAT is going to be an unbelievable feud.
This is great news. I feel that Edge has been getting screwed on Raw since Cena is now damn near invincible.
I might have to be a little more religious in my viewing of Smackdown now......
As an Undertaker fan, I think it's sad though. To have the Undertaker hold the title for only a month I think is a letdown.

Oh, I agree. I'm a huge 'Taker fan, but they had to get the belt off of him. He tore his bicep last weekend, and he's out for pretty much the rest of the year now.
